it's that time of year again.
one year has ended, another now started
a time of reflection and objective self criticism of the year past.

what's happened,
what I've done,
what I haven't done,
the choices I've made,
their outcomes,
their consequences,
the smiles and cries,
from being on cloud nine,
and feeling like I can fly,
to just dropping like a rock,
and being back in a rut,
and over again,
the hopes,
the dreams
the wishes,
the what ifs,
the shoulda,
the woulda,
and the couldas,
would things be different
and was it worth it....

but I,
regret nothing, and cherish everything,
cause everything is everything.
keep moving forward
as hard as it can be
remembering God's Faithfulness
and the joy, comfort and hope that comes with it.
